David Newman

David has over 25 years industry experience, with his most recent role being Managing Director of a WA based licensee. David has extensive experience in funds management, life insurance operations, superannuation and sales channel management.  

David's experience also includes 6 years as WA State Manager for AMP Financial Services Limited and the 13 years prior for the listed funds management group Tyndall Australia Limited (now Promina), 10 of which were as State Manager WA.

David is CEO of Partnership Financial Services and is responsible for developing the external wealth management adviser market.

Anita Edwards

Anita has over 25 years experience in the financial services industry. Anita joined PFS from a WA based AFS licensee, where she was the General Manager responsible for the operations of the business as well as the delivery to the adviser network. Prior to this Anita was with the Aviva Group where Anita was National Manager - Research & Dealer Group Marketing and prior to that the Aviva/Navigator Research Manager.

Anita also has experience in banking financial services having spent time with the NAB and prior to that worked with a national licensee in various roles including research and compliance, training, paraplanning and financial planning.

At PFS Anita is responsible for group operations and the delivery and ongoing development of the PFS offer.

Max Young

As Head of Investment, Max is responsible for asset management operations and research. Since joining PFS’s parent company, the Plan B Group in 2002, he has been involved in the research, design and implementation of fund management strategies within the Group. He is secretary to the Investment Committee, which has oversight over management of all investments.

Max also has a role in communicating the PFS investment approach to a wider audience. Prior to joining the Plan B Group, Max was employed at the Sydney Futures Exchange and Macquarie Bank. He has over ten years experience in the Financial Services industry and holds a B Ec (Hons).

Bernardine Dove

As Head of Group Support Services, Bernardine has responsibility for the operational service delivery and support provided by the Plan B Group to internal and external stakeholders.  The business units reporting to Bernardine are Training and Development, Information Services, Human Resources, Business Solutions and Technical Services.

Bernardine keeps up-to-date with the latest technology, future trends, competitors, customer service shifts and market changes, to enable Plan B’s service departments to support our client base effectively.  This enables her to ensure extensive systems coverage and to plan for the future growth of the company.

Bernardine has been with the Group for the past nine years during which time she occupied the role of IT Manager for a number of years before moving into the role of Head of Group Support Services.  Prior to joining Plan B, Bernardine gained a wealth of experience in accounting, software instruction, database design and IT Management within multi national companies in South Africa.

John Atkinson

John has recently been appointed as CEO of Plan B Group Holdings in New Zealand. Prior to this John held the position of Plan B Group Holdings, Head of Marketing where John guided Plan B’s marketing to current and prospective clients. John also still retains an oversight of Group Marketing in both Australia and New Zealand

John has previously held senior marketing roles in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods and Telecommunications sectors in Europe, the Caribbean and Australia.

He has a Bachelor of Business Studies, a Master of Business Studies and a Diploma in Financial Management.
